Ingredients:

Sauce

  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 tbsp beef stock
  • 1 jar Pasta Sauce
  • 1x 400g can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2x bay leaves

Meatballs

  • 500g pork mince
  • 6 Tbsp grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbsp fresh thyme
  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Method:

Sauce

  1. Brown onion in a saucepan with olive oil
  2. Add red wine vinegar, garlic, beef stock, chilli flakes and oregano
  3. Reduce for about a minute
  4. Add red wine and reduce for 5 minutes
  5. Add pasta sauce, tomatoes, and bay leaves
  6. Simmer for 1 hour
  7. Add sugar and simmer for 15 minutes

Meatballs:

  1. They’re meatballs, do you really need fucking instructions.
  2. Roll and place on baking paper lined tray
  3. Cook in oven at 220C for 20min
  4. Take out flip and put in for another 20min

Notes for Connor who does need instructions:

  • That onion better be near minced bitch
  • Yes you need to use fresh parsley and thyme
  • Roll to the size of a golf ball
