Ingredients:
Sauce
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 tbsp beef stock
- 1 jar Pasta Sauce
- 1x 400g can chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 2x bay leaves
Meatballs
- 500g pork mince
- 6 Tbsp grated Parmesan
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 Tbsp garlic
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Method:
Sauce
- Brown onion in a saucepan with olive oil
- Add red wine vinegar, garlic, beef stock, chilli flakes and oregano
- Reduce for about a minute
- Add red wine and reduce for 5 minutes
- Add pasta sauce, tomatoes, and bay leaves
- Simmer for 1 hour
- Add sugar and simmer for 15 minutes
Meatballs:
- They’re meatballs, do you really need fucking instructions.
- Roll and place on baking paper lined tray
- Cook in oven at 220C for 20min
- Take out flip and put in for another 20min

- Yes you need to use fresh parsley and thyme
