Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 150g butter, softened
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 400g dark chocolate, chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 160oC
- Place brown and white sugars, butter and vanilla in an electric mixer and beat for 8-10 minutes
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add egg, beating well to combine
- Add the flour, salt and baking powder and beat on low speed, until a dough forms
- Fold in the chocolate
- Roll a teaspoon of dough into a ball, flatten slightly and place on greased baking tray
- Bake for 17-20 minutes or until golden
